CYPASS

Context: CYPASS started from an application to the CyberIncub incubation program in April 2025, aiming to make a digital document as verifiable as a stamped paper one, for Beninese administrations and businesses. My role: technical lead (CTO) within a team of 5, selected in October 2025 to join the program. Development of the first modules, including document verification and a public monitoring feature called VigiTech, started in November 2025. What the platform does: an issuer certifies a document, which becomes publicly verifiable from a simple check page showing its authenticity, digital fingerprint, and status. The monitoring module also flags incidents and exposed sensitive data, aiming for continuous surveillance rather than one off checks. Result: an MVP being rolled out through 2026, with institutional partners including the Government of the Republic of Benin, ARCEP, and the Ministry of Digital Affairs and Digitalization, on an interface built with Nuxt.js and hosted on Netlify.
